Dr. Prakash is an expert Paediatrician and a leading Neonatologist. He has undergone training for 17 years in the UK at various hospitals in the UK and was also a consultant neonatologist at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, UK. Dr. Prakash Desai has completed his MBBS from MS Ramaiah Medical College and has attained DCH and MRCPCH degree in Paediatrics in the UK. He has completed CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training - Consultant equivalent) in Paediatrics after undergoing training in Neonatology and Paediatrics. Dr. Prakash has immense experience and special interest in looking after babies born extremely preterm, birth asphyxia, neonatal sepsis, babies with congenital heart disease and surgical malformations, He also has experience of foetal medicine counselling regarding the prognosis and likely care the baby going to receive if born prematurely or with congenital malformations. Dr Prakash also does outpatient clinics for routine infant follow up, vaccinations, growth concerns, general paediatric illness and neonatal neuro-developmental follow up.
