I Dr.Muthiah Periyakaruppan a pediatrician with focus on outcome-oriented services. I try to do evidence-based practices as much as possible. Over the years I have developed a passion towards acute care pediatrics and trained for the same in CMC Vellore. After my fellowship in critical care started working in Chennai since 2017 as a hospitalist. Stabilizing sick children and providing positive outcomes has been a constant motivation and a driving force for me. Point of care ultrasound, oxygen and fluid therapy in PICU, cardiac intensive care are my areas of interest in PICU. (Pediatric ICU) Family centered care, Vaccination, child safety and accident/injury prevention, good parenting skills are my special areas of interest in general pediatrics. Planting back smiles in little ones and their families is my objective in every child I treat.
